About Products & App
Where can I download the app?
The KS Fit app is available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
How do I register the app?
Download KS Fit from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Before registering, change the country to yours on the app's home page — phone number registration is only available for Chinese users, so overseas customers should register with an email address instead.
What battery does the remote control use?
C2 / A1 Pro / R1 / R2 remotes use 1 x CR2032 coin cell battery. P1 / C1 remotes use 2 x AAA batteries.
Do WalkingPad models have incline or decline?
No. All WalkingPads fold from the middle of the body, so there is currently no way to combine that with an incline mechanism.
What do the "Standby", "M mode" and "A mode" settings mean?
Standby is sleep mode while you're not walking. M is manual mode, where you set a fixed speed. A is automatic mode, where speed adjusts to your walking pace. Switch between the three modes using the remote control.
How do I use "A" (automatic) mode?
Every WalkingPad treadmill has an "A" / Automatic mode — the light for automatic mode turns on and speed is controlled automatically to follow your walking pace. For R Series (R1/R2), lower the handrail first before switching to auto mode.
To start, stand at the front of the belt before the machine begins moving: the front section accelerates, the middle section holds a constant speed, and the rear section stops. Built-in sensors detect your position — if you're using a very soft mat underneath, it can interfere with the sensor and trigger novice mode; removing the mat (or placing the machine on a flat, even surface) usually resolves this.
What's the difference between WalkingPad A1 and WalkingPad P1?
P1/C1 pair with the KS Fit app and a display remote control, and have no LED display on the machine's head cover. A1 shows data on an LED display built into the head cover instead, and the remote control shows no data.
What's the difference between WalkingPad R1 and WalkingPad R2?
R2 adds a dedicated slot on the handle for a phone or tablet and an upgraded appearance — metal-texture spray paint, a right-angle design, fringe detailing, and a luxury-car-pedal-style tread with anti-skid rubber material.

Repairs & Troubleshooting
How do I solve a black screen when booting the machine?
First check that the power switch is turned on. If the white power light is on but the screen stays black, try a different power cable or a different plug socket.
The device won't connect to the app and the WiFi light flashes fast — what do I do?
If the WiFi light flashes quickly and the app can't find the device or the connection times out: press the large button on the right side of the machine twice, with a 3-second pause in between. The WiFi light should then slow down and the machine will restart — you can then reconnect the device (press for 3s, pause 1s, press for 3s, then power off and back on).
What does "SAFE" on the screen mean?
Check that the red safety key is plugged into the handrail. It's a protective feature — when the safety key isn't inserted, the machine switches into safe mode.
What should I do if the machine shows an error code?
Codes starting with "E" are often caused by transport. Power off the treadmill for about 10 minutes, then restart — the code may clear. If it doesn't:
- E01 — drive communication error
- E02 — motor abnormality
- E05 — overcurrent protection
- E06 — motor protection
- E08 — sensor error
For these, please contact support for help. If the display shows E10 or E11, no action is needed — it will resolve automatically after the countdown.
What does "press" or "rest" on the screen mean?
For "press": press the function key on the remote control to exit. For "rest": we recommend not using the machine continuously for more than 1 hour (walking mode) or 2 hours (running mode) at a time — the machine stops automatically after extended use to help protect it, not because of a fault. Switch it off, let it cool for about 30 minutes, then switch back on and continue.
What should I do about an abnormal noise?
A slam or thud noise can often be reduced by placing a treadmill floor mat under the WalkingPad. A sharp metal whistling sound (motor carbon brush) or drum noise, or a grinding/magnetic-friction sound from the motor cover against the belt, should be reported to support for maintenance. For any other unusual sound, please send a description or a short video so we can assess it.
What if the remote control doesn't work?
If it isn't paired: power on the machine, and when the white progress bar appears, press the remote's conversion button 5–8 times to pair — it will switch modes automatically once successful. If pairing still fails, check that the battery is inserted correctly; if it is and pairing still doesn't work, contact support — a replacement remote or a factory repair may be needed.
